Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority
We renovated the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport into a new 1.1 million SF terminal featuring 24 gates and three levels — one each for baggage claim and handling, ticketing, and the main concourse. The project also included numerous retail establishments and restaurants, a five-story riverside glass wall with a breathtaking view of Washington, DC, the upgrade of gates in the existing terminal, a new 213-foot high control tower, and a new five-lane viaduct that serves as the main exit from the airport and ties into the existing road and Metro subway station.
The striking new terminal may be the most aesthetically pleasing in the country.
