Also included are a Visitors Control Center, warehouse building, and other supporting buildings and infrastructure, including new access roads, off-site improvements, a two-lane vehicular bridge parking, and utilities.

MARKET > Airports NAME: Ronald Reagan National Airport LOCATION: Washington, DC OWNER: Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority General contractor as part of a joint venture for the construction of a new main terminal and 213-ft-high control tower. One of the main challenges of this project was constructing the new terminal while handling 45,000 passengers a day. Design features included 54 distinctive Jeffersonian domes creating a “capitol” architectural appearance. The new terminal also features: 24 gates and three levels Numerous retail and restaurants, which required a great deal of tenant fit-out work 2,000-ft-long extension to connect the new terminal with the existing facility High-end finishes including nearly $5.5 million of artwork Five-story riverside glass wall providing visitors a breathtaking view of Washington, DC The project was awarded the 2000 - Design for Transportation National Merit Award for Historic Terminal A Rehabilitation and the 2000 - Design for Transportation National Merit Award for Terminal B/C.

Parks Companies General contractor, as part of a joint venture, for this unique 12-story upscale condominium complex. The building will contain 125 units, including penthouses, along with the associated amenities and recreation areas. After executing an Early Sitework package, we also provided pre-construction services to our client prior to the general contractor contract. We have structured our relationship with our client to facilitate open communication on all cost, quality, and schedule issues. This has allowed Diamond Beach Development to make critical project decisions with the most reliability.

MARKET > Hospitality NAME: The Grand Waikikian LOCATION: Honolulu, Oahu, HI OWNER: Hilton Grand Vacations Club Providing design-assist construction of the first new timeshare structure in Waikiki. Scope involves construction of a 38-story concrete tower with 331 timeshare units, six-levels of parking, and extensive water features/ pool area. The exterior of this 350-foot high structure is covered with precast concrete with a Hawaiian décor.
