Meet Our Leadership Team
Richard Cohen, President
Richard Cohen is the principal of the organization and has over 30 years of experience in both the residential and commercial construction industries. Richard leverages decades of experience and relationships throughout nearly every sector of the industry to lead teams in consistently exceeding the expectations of all stakeholders involved in projects. While Richard began his career in residential construction, he spent over 25 years working for Hensel Phelps; one of the largest building services, development and design build construction companies in the United States.
Jeffrey Hoopes, Chairman of the Board
Jeff Hoopes is Chairman Emeritus and former Chief Executive Officer of Swinerton. Under Jeff’s leadership since 1988 Swinerton grew to a 100% employee-owned company delivering over $5 billion of commercial construction services annually throughout the United States. Jeff worked at Swinerton for 35 years and is a respected leader in the architectural, engineering and construction industries. Jeff’s hallmark over his career has been building connections, relationship through a client-centric people first approach to business.
Tom Case, Board Member
Tom Case has over 30 years of business leadership in executive roles for some of the most successful commercial construction companies in country including Granite Construction and Sundt Construction. Tom has expertise in corporate leadership in both the public and private sectors holding officer and board level positions for large general contractors in civil, commercial & industrial construction companies. He understands how to lead teams, manage process, and deliver results in various forms of contract delivery methods. This comprehensive understanding and broad experience base allows Tom the ability to build teams which consistently deliver successful projects to his clients.
David Ferraiolo, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer
David is responsible for the oversight and management of the company’s Support Services departments, specifically, Accounting/Finance; Human Resources; Information Technology; and Risk Management. David has over 20 years of expertise in the construction industry, holding senior leadership roles with The Norwood Company, Tutor Perini, Gilbane Building Company and McCarthy Building Companies. As a member of the company’s executive team and advisor to the Board of Directors, David provides strategic guidance to the company’s organizational governance and reporting.
Matthew J. Brodie, Senior Vice President of Operations
Matthew Brodie, LEED AP, Senior Vice President of Operations – Matthew has over 30 years of construction experience with 26 of these years with dck worldwide. He has a broad range of construction experience in both private and government projects, and has worked on numerous key projects for dck worldwide in the Continental US, Alaska, Guam, Saipan, Mexico and various Caribbean islands. Matthew has extensive experience with Design Build projects among other delivery methods and actively works with the project teams to ensure that projects are successfully delivered with a focus to exceeding all stakeholder interests. He was a member of dck worldwide‘s first Leadership Development Institute class.
