LEED / Sustainability

We don’t follow the trends, we LEED.

As a global company, we are keenly aware of how a single thing that’s accomplished in one part of the world affects not just the area around it, but other parts of the planet as well.

With the construction of more than 8.3 million square feet of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified facilities totaling more than $1.9 billion, dck worldwide has extensive experience in reducing building operations/facility costs and assisting in recommendations regarding material and systems selection, energy, and site issues as well as gathering and preparing the required documentation for LEED certification.

We’ve completed over 50 LEED certified projects, including LEED Gold, LEED Silver, LEED Certified and LEED Equivalent sites.

Highlights of our LEED certified work include:

  • PNC Firstside Center in Pittsburgh, PA — the first and largest commercial building to be LEED Silver certified in the area
  • Joint Region Marianas Headquarters — the first LEED certified project on Guam, LEED Silver
  • Child Development Center (CDC) at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia — the first CDC in the Department of Defense to be LEED certifiedArchitectural finishes
