dck worldwide is organized into several companies—dck north America, LLC; dck pacific construction, LLC; dck pacific guam, LLC; and dck international, LLC. Through these companies, we are operating in various regions around the world, with our current geographical reach extending from Guam to the Caribbean. Our 600 professional employees and almost 1,200 trades employees proficiently serve both public and private clients.

We have organized our business into the various regions to most effectively provide a full range of construction services to our clients and their projects located within those regions. While these independently managed groups are able to address the special needs of the clients in the areas they service, they are also organized to be profitable and successful and are integral parts of the dck worldwide organization. Although separate legal entities, dck worldwide and its member companies work as one company when executing projects. This one company approach provides management and leadership throughout the organization. It also provides for the sharing of resources and experience, thus providing best value to our clients.

MARKET > NAME: Clinton County Maintenance Garage LOCATION: Clinton County, PA OWNER: PA Dept. of General Services This was the first Commissioning task order from the PA DGS on the multi-year Commissioning Agent contract. We are providing design phase commissioning services for the new Clinton County Maintenance Garage. The new garage, which replaces the existing structure built in the late 1930s, will be designed to the new PENNDOT model design standards.

GalvPro L.P. 60” Galvanizing Line mouse over photos to view

MARKET > Industrial NAME: GalvPro L.P. 60” Galvanizing Line LOCATION: Jeffersonville, IN OWNER: GalvPro, L.P. EPC contractor for this steel treatment facility that can process 370,000 tons of strip steel annually. This 200,000 sf plant, located on a 26.5 acre site, treats steel coils ranging in widths from 24 to 60 inches. After reaching substantial completion of the new GALVPRO facility one week ahead of schedule, the next six months were spent participating in performance testing. The facility includes three, 35-ton overhead cranes located in the storage bay; one 15-ton overhead crane used for furnace maintenance; and one 10-ton overhead crane used for the zinc pot. We also installed a 6,800 cy concrete floor slab, 1,600 cy of concrete equipment foundations, and a 10,400 sf office/locker building.

MARKET > Military NAME: Network Operations Center/ Marine Corps Base LOCATION: Quantico, VA OWNER: Engineering Field Activity Chesapeake Naval Facilities Engineering Command This project was part of the design-build Multiple Award Contract (MAC) for construction, renovation, alteration, and repair projects for administrative facilities predominantly in Atlantic Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command. It included the design and construction of a single-story reinforced concrete masonry unit building on a reinforced concrete foundation with structural steel framing, brick veneer, steel truss, and standing seam metal roof. The facility manages all of the military’s computer network traffic throughout the region, including remote operations and monitoring of servers and server farms, routers, networks, along with prevention, detection, and rapid response to attempts to penetrate network security. Sustainable design principles were included in the design and development of the building.

MARKET > Retail NAME: WalMart/Sam’s Club LOCATION: Honolulu, HI OWNER: Neiman Marcus Design-Build of a two-story 315,000 sf building with Wal-Mart on the first floor and Sam's Club on the second floor. Separate parking structure has four levels to accommodate 1,700 vehicles. The retail building is structural steel and wrapped in EFS (Exterior Finish System). The parking structure is constructed with precast concrete elements. The 10.5-acre property is located in central Honolulu.
