MARKET > Healthcare NAME: Hawaii State Veteran’s Home LOCATION: Hilo, HI OWNER: State of Hawaii Hawaii Health Systems Corporation Provided design-assist construction of the first veteran's home in the State of Hawaii that includes a medical facility, administration building, and associated infrastructure. Phase I involved the abatement and demolition of four existing buildings (old Hilo Hospital). Phase II was the construction of a new three level, 95-bed, assisted living medical facility for veterans with 59,000 sf of interior floor space. This project received a Design-Build/Design-Assist Award of Excellence from the GCA of Hawaii.

MARKET > Industrial NAME: Honolulu Advertiser Production Facility LOCATION: Kapolei, Oahu, HI OWNER: The Honolulu Advertiser Design-assist contract to build a new 150,000 sf, three-story newspaper production facility. Scope of work included cast-in-place and precast concrete, structural steel, glass curtainwall, interior building finishes, and mechanical and electrical work. The exterior work included paving, landscaping, and entry gates.

MARKET > Hospitality NAME: The Grand Waikikian LOCATION: Honolulu, Oahu, HI OWNER: Hilton Grand Vacations Club Providing design-assist construction of the first new timeshare structure in Waikiki. Scope involves construction of a 38-story concrete tower with 331 timeshare units, six-levels of parking, and extensive water features/ pool area. The exterior of this 350-foot high structure is covered with precast concrete with a Hawaiian décor.

MARKET > Hospitality NAME: Wedding Chapel @ Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel LOCATION: Honolulu, Oahu, HI OWNER: Hilton Hotels / Best Bridal Provided design-assist construction of the Ocean Crystal Chapel, the first free-standing resort chapel in Waikiki. Located on the grounds of the popular Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort, the two-story 4,000 sf chapel consists of a bridal party waiting area and administrative facilities on the ground floor and an 85-seat chapel with floor-to-ceiling glass windows on the second floor. Lush landscaping with meandering walkways, waterfalls, rockscapes, and a gazebo surround the chapel.
