Provided design-build construction of a standard modular storage magazine, box-type munitions igloos. Work included access roadway, site preparation, electrical power lighting, lightning protection, intrusion detection, and telecommunication systems.
Each igloo consisted of pre-cast walls and roof panels, with cast-in-place front wing walls. Site work included clearing and grading, structural excavation and base preparation, trenching and backfilling for lightning/grounding system. Subsidiary facilities included construction of a new generator house, transformer pad with enclosures, and two-switch pad enclosures.

Serving as construction manager for the Ohio Turnpike’s $700 million third Lane Widening Program. The program involves construction of a third lane for 160-miles of the turnpike. This program began in 1996 and entails replacement of 100 mainline bridges and 50 overhead bridges. our management responsibilities during design and construction phases include: alternate concepts analysis, constructability reviews, project scheduling, estimating, cost monitoring, document control, contract packaging, construction inspection, claims avoidance, safety monitoring, and serving as the OTC’s liaison between all other parties involved.

Executed this design-build contract for the construction of a new U.S. Penitentiary and Federal Prison Camp. Situated on a 660-acre site, the facility includes several one- and two- story buildings, a factory, educational and vocational facilities, six general housing units, and one special housing unit. Construction included precast modular cell units, tilt-up concrete wall panels, structural pre-cast, masonry, and concrete slab on grade. Site preparation, including the removal of over 550,000 cubic yards of soil.
This project received a DBIA Excellence Award; Marvin M. Black Excellence in Partnering Award by the Associated General Contractors of America; and Best Design-Build Project from Southwest Contractor Magazine.

As general contractor, successfully completed the site development work for this five-star resort complex on time and under budget. This 41-acre site work package consisted of all bulk site excavation/earthwork, site utilities, infrastructure, roadways, site retaining walls, and massive underground water cistern necessary to support the entire resort complex, which is comprised of a 100-room hotel complex; five condominium and three town home buildings; 35 individual residential villas; and all back-of-house support facilities.
Working on the remote island of Anguilla, dck employees utilized local island subcontractors and labor resources, along with international subcontractors, to meet the required manpower and construction schedule for this project.
