dck/TtEC LLC Achieves Major Milestone at
MCAS Yuma
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—October 31, 2011 – dck/TtEC, LLC achieved a major milestone on Thursday, October 20, 2011, when the structural steel arrived and erection began for the first of two F-35 Joint Strike Fighter hangars that the company is constructing at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma in Arizona. Despite award delays over the FY11 budget, dck has been working diligently and in close cooperation with NAVFAC Southwest and MCAS Yuma Base Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC) Personnel to deliver the first hangar by March 16, 2012, and the second by October 8, 2012. The project team’s efforts represent the dedication of dck to deliver the project as solicited within the government’s timeframe.
In addition to constructing the aircraft hangars at MCAS Yuma, along with aircraft taxiway and parking apron, dck/TtEC is also constructing major utilities and communications infrastructure improvements throughout the base to support the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program.
