The Four Seasons Hotel and Resort was heavily damaged by Hurricane Omar in October 2008.  dck worldwide, having provided construction management services to the resort in 2000 for the destruction sustained from Hurricane Lenny, was called upon to work with the insurance executives and the resort owner to assess the damage and execute the hurricane restoration work.  dck worldwide completely gutted the twelve cottages and the Great House due to flooding.  Rebuilding included installation of new drywall, plaster, millwork, stonework, wall coverings, doors, and flooring, as well as rebuilding of kitchens.  Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems were repaired and upgraded.  Exterior restorations were made along with upgrades to the tennis and shuffleboard courts.
