- Client U.S. Department of Defense
- Services Provided general Construction
- Location Eglin Air Force Base, Ft. Walton, FL
Through the Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) program, dck worldwide and our partner, Innisfree Development, were selected to develop and operate this 152-room resort that we constructed on property owned by the Eglin Air Force Base. The EUL Program, part of the National Defense Authorization Act, authorizes the Department of Defense to make under-utilized real property available to the private sector for long-term lease. Set on a seventeen-acre parcel with approximately 600 feet of Gulf beach frontage, the hotel features 2,500-square-feet of meeting space, a kids’ game room, an outdoor lazy river and hot tub, an indoor swimming pool, and more. The hotel also features a testing surveillance facility on the roof of the hotel for use by the Air Force, which is “disguised” as a giant beach ball.
