Touted as one of the most difficult courses in Hawaii, dck worldwide provided general contracting services for the golf course construction of the Minami Golf Course and Club House (later renamed Ko'olau Golf Course and Clubhouse). Infrastructure work for the 18-hole golf course included irrigation, grassing, underground sewer and electrical lines, and construction of two 150-foot deep wells. Despite the wet conditions caused by unusually heavy rainfall, crews successfully moved more than 800,000 cubic yards of soil and realigned two streams running through the course. The luxury two-story clubhouse offers 128,000 square feet of recreation and banquet facilities, a library, and a Japanese-style furo. Marble lines the floors and walls. A fountain water feature welcomes guests into the open foyer, which leads to a grand staircase. The main dining room overlooks landscaped lagoons, a swimming pool, and spa. Additionally, a pre-engineered 22,000 square-foot metal maintenance building was built for the course. Learn more about our Entertainment Solutions and other entertainment projects.
