  • Location Polaris Point, Guam
dck worldwide is proud of building the facilities that provide the submarine community with the training and education that they need before deployments. This task order, the seed project under our Design-Build Multiple Award Construction Contract, involved the design and construction of a Submarine Learning Center (SLC), headquarters facility for Commander Submarine Squadron (CSS) 15, and a Torpedo Exercise Support Building. As a federal contractor, we built the SLC to include learning facilities for academic and applied training, instructors' offices, storage/maintenance areas, and more. The CSS 15 HQ includes administrative spaces, video-teleconference room, emergency control center, material storage, and an intrusion detection system. The torpedo exercise support facility includes a target preparation area, helicopter launcher checkout and preparation area, exercise torpedo flushing operations room, and support office spaces.
